Here are some of your letters to the editors. Keep 'em coming, good or bad, we love your input.

Your story on Micky Champion was excellent. Thank you for giving me a new place to check when in LA.

I'm digging your e-zine. Certainly, I plan on going to see the "Red Hot Mamma."

Editors:

I recently re-read your "Cool Careers" interview with sweater designer Julee Rivard. Though I would have liked to see a photo of Ms. Rivard wearing one of her designs, I was entranced by this story of someone who has maintained her artistic integrity AND earns a living through her art (a form accessible to many people of all persuasions). Thanks for a very special insight into a field that is so different from my own. Ms. Rivard's story nonetheless helped maintain my perspective on the struggles many of us face -- myself included -- to reconcile our creative impulses with paying the rent. Great admiration to Ms. Rivard. I must consult her when I get around to choosing fabrics for my walls!

Ladies:

My hat is off to "San Francisco Bicycle Coalition Member & Volunteer for Tom Ammiano" for his/her informative reporting on the recent San Francisco mayoral election. This Angeleo had been following Ammiano's incredible story and rooting for him from afar. SFBCM&VFTA is right on when s/he says that though Mr. Ammiano was defeated this time around, he has forced Willie Brown to address some of Ammiano's very worthy causes and given big-money politics a real kick in the pants (the data about what the candidates spent in relation to the percentage of the vote they garnered was extremely illuminating). I must also applaud SFBCM&VFTA for his/her obvious passion and commitment and for helping make a difference. We should all follow his/her example.

Loved and savored every tidbit in Jan's MASH, but as always, that li'l vixen La Carla was a most enchanting read.

Great issue. Your articles are pithy, no fluff to dull your readers interest.
